  1. Upload to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Unzip in the folder
  3. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
The plugin does not work, what should I do?

Disable and then re-enable the plugin in the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
If that does not help, try disabling other installed plugins, to exclude the possibility of a plugin conflict.

Where are the settings for the plugin located?

They are located under ‘Statistics’ section in the ‘Settings’ section.

When I test the plugin, the page view number increments by 2, is it a bug?

If you test the plugin by loading the blog, make sure that you have the setting ‘Administration Exclusion’ under the ‘Exclusions’ tab set to ‘yes’. One hit is formed from the blog view, the other one from the administration panel hit if the setting is set to ‘no’.

This plugin is exactly what I need to find out about my website stats, it's simple and functional. Just one suggestion, please change that horrible and discriminatory Mercator Projection World Map for a modern one. Greenland looks bigger than Africa!

Admittedly, there are much more refined stats plugin. I have used and I am using some of them. But what I need in other instance is a simple, light one, that provides basic information for non commercial sites and allows me to know ehat traffic is and where it comes from. And this is exactly what WP Power Stats is providing. It allows me to know what I want to know, it is simple and it just works. No complicated configuration. Moreover, it seems to be light: exactly what I need - and, presumably, what many other users will be pleased with for small, non commercial sites.

What a pitty: search engine keywords stay empty. And I know that there must be a lot of them because I crosscheck it with Google Webmaster Tools.
