Installation

Upload the ‘chatbot-chatgpt’ folder to the ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory.
Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
Go to the ‘Settings > Chatbot ChatGPT’ page and enter your OpenAI API key.
Customize the chatbot appearance and other parameters as needed.
Add the chatbot to any page or post using the provided shortcode: [chatbot_chatgpt]
After installation, go to the ‘Settings > Chatbot ChatGPT’ page then click the ‘Knowledge Navigator’ tab and run a scan of your site.
Select hourly, daily, or weekly to run the Knowledge Navigator periodically to remain current about your content.

Can I customize the appearance of the chatbot?

Yes, the plugin comes with a default style, but you can easily customize the chatbot’s appearance by editing the chatbot-chatgpt.css file or adding custom CSS rules to your WordPress theme.

You can also customize the name of the chatbot, as well as changing the initial greeting and subsequent greeting.

I use the plugin Echo Knowledge Base (EKB) where I build FAQs for the users. EKB stores the FAQs as standard posts but with a new post_type value. I edited the file ./include/chatbot-chatgpt-kn-acquire.php so that the query around line 80 reads: "SELECT ID, post_name, post_content FROM {$wpdb->prefix}posts WHERE (post_type='post' OR post_type='epkb_post_type_1') AND post_status='publish'" This lets the chatbot include any FAQs I write to be part of its knowledge so it can be more specific about my website when asked questions. Now I only edit, add, or delete FAQs in EKB and the chatbot can use the information at will.

For now my rating is only one star, only one because I can't remove starts completely.Code ... well nice and tidy but usefulnes of the Chatbot is rather low.Not sure why but I was unable to save configuration also was not able to see anything before triggered "Learning mode"What it suppose to do ? How it suppose to work ?Scanned all possible pages/links across my website but I was unable to chat about content in any way.Is there any trick I should use to make this thing work ?
